Sampson's Almshouses provide the relief of financial hardship among people of good character connected to the area of Farnham and to the Church of England, in particular, by providing such persons with almshouse accomodation which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means.
The almshouses have no onsite caretaker and the have no onsite healthcare provision. Residents must be capable of living independently in the accommodation.
Living in an almshouse community is peaceful and rewarding, however, it may not suit everyone. Before applying, we recommend that you read our Resident’s Handbook which provides all the information you might need.
If you wish to make an application please download our application form save it to you computer and either fill it in using adobe acrobat or by print it out and complete using black ink . Once completed send the form to the clerk either by email or post.
All applications are considered by the trustees and if a candidate is considered suitable will be invited for an interview. The Charity operates a register of interest rather than a waiting list. This way we can contact you as soon as an Almshouse becomes available.
